Right, so when I woke up this morning, I noticed that I had to update my PC, and so I did. After it was updated and running, a couple of minutes after, the whole system just froze all of a sudden. I couldn't move my mouse cursor, and my keyboard wasn't working as well. This lasted for about 2-5 minutes, I'd say, not sure.

Does anyone know what this can cause? This is the first time happening since I upgraded my PC last year.

I recently installed and played Rome: Total War II. Played about 2-3 hours, but I'm not sure if that caused it, since I do have a PC that can run that game without any problems.

Here's my PC specs:

CPU: i72700k

Memory RAM: 16

Graphics Card: GTX 770 with 2GB

I've got also 7 fans running 24/7 and I do have a CPU cooler ( Can't remember the name of it )

Also took a photo of the CPU tweak:

^I have no idea what that above means. xD

So, yeah....that's pretty much it. Does anyone know what can cause this? I'm VERY concerned now, and this year has been nothing but bad luck for me recently and if there is a problem with my PC, I want to fix it ASAP before it's too late.

Cheers! -Eaze54

Hi, Scania84

Well, the thing, my PC is the weirdest PC I've ever known.

I restarted my PC and that 'freezing' thing did not happen. I am not sure, I think it has something to do with the game I played, Rome:Total War 2. Thanks for the link, though.

That is a bit weird, it must be to do with the game you could try and uninstall the game and see if the problem reoccurs. And no worries.

I also had the problem, but it would sometimes freeze more than once a day. I have these two websites that have a few solutions but what did the trick for me is to reset the winsock catalog.
