Hi everyone!  sqrlHI

Recently my software for my G27 Racing wheel won't launch when I double click on it, it won't even respond if I run it as an administrator. Basically what happens, is that nothing happens... sqrlROFL. My G27 IS plugged in while I try to run the launcher. I've tried to reinstall the software completely around 4 times, but nothing happens. I don't know what can cause it.

I use Windows 8.1

Any ideas?

Have you tried downloading the drivers from this site?
http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/g27-racing-wheel#download
remember to select win 8 in the drop down
or Direct downlaod link win8 64bit.: http://www.logitech.com/pub/techsupport/joystick/lgs510_x64.exe

if you're using the included cd there might been a windows update making it obsolete

TheNuttyDane

No, didn't work. I'm not using with the cd included. But thanks for your quick reply. :)

let try attempt number two then :D

press: windows key + R
type: appdata
then go to: local\Logitect\Gaming software
move all the .xml files to a folder on your desktop.
then try to start the program

TheNuttyDane

Hi, sorry, but I had to go yesterday, and then I had school until now. Whenever I try to do the Windows key + R nothing happens. I haven't used that command before, so I can't tell if it has been working before. Is there another way to access the folder with the .xml files? Thanks for your time and effort btw. sqrlYES

you can go to "C:\Users\Computer name\AppData\Local\Logitect\Gaming software"
that should take you to the correct folder.

TheNuttyDane

The folder doesn't exist it says... I've tried to reinstall the software, but I still can't find it.

I just had the same problem and this worked for me. Thanks! :D

My Profiler has NEVER launched either.  What I do is click on Logitec Profiler > Device > Game Controllers > Properties > OK and then my wheel runs perfectly.
