Hello everyone,

My question is... Is it possible to use wireless ap (i'm using ubiquiti uap ac pro and uap ac m) to create another lan across my house. For example, my router and AP1(upstairs) broadcasts a signal to AP2 (downstairs) linked to a wired switch to create a small wired lan? I hope my wording isn't too confusing. I'm trying to connect some Ubiquiti UVC G3 cctv cameras, but i'm trying to avoid running poe cables for across my house.

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

it sure is possible.

all you need to do is setup your wifi router downstairs as a repeater.
i dont know how new your devices are but a quick google search for "ubiquiti ap as repeater" gave me this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D6_glSQk9JQ

But if you are living in a house and not an apartment i would consider looking at "power line" it will serve the same purpose, but will use your indoors mains power lines as networks cable. benefits is that you get a better speed/lower ping and its more reliable.
